Template Includes Overview

These objects allow a ServerConfiguration to be defined within a hierarchial set of files, rather than a single file. They may be specified as a child element of any ServerConfiguration configuration object that accepts child elements. This includes the top-level ServerConfiguration object, all ProtocolConnectors and ProtocolListeners, etc.

TemplateIncludes also allow for a common set of configuration elements to be specified once in a template file, and reused multiple times within a single ServerConfiguration. This is useful for defining common Bindings to be reused within multiple ProtocolListeners or ProtocolConnectors, or any other set of elements that needs to be repeatedly defined within a ServerConfiguration.

IncludeConfig Object

  • IncludeConfig - Embedded within any AlchemyPoint configuration element that supports child nodes, this element triggers the loading of configuration data from an external template file.
